How to Change Your Password in WordPress
You want to start off by making sure you log into your WordPress website. To do this, you will type in your domain name, for example, http://examplesite.com/wp-admin. Once you have logged in you, want to go to Users > Your Profile.
Next, you want to scroll down until you see Account Management that is located towards the bottom of the page. You want to click generate the password.
You might have a different version of WordPress which might change up the wording on this part but don’t worry. It’s the same process and in the same location regardless of the wording. Next, you want to make sure the password you go with is strong. A strong password is going to be something that is easy for you to remember but hard someone else to guess.
Once you get the password that you want to use put in, you simply want to click on the Update Profile button towards the bottom of the page to save your new password. That’s all there is to it.
We hope this article helped you and showed you how to change your password in WordPress.
