3. Choose A Domain Name
You are now on the page where you want to choose a domain name for your site. The awesome part is you are going to get a free domain name with your Bluehost hosting purchase.
You’ll see on the left side the create a new domain box where you can enter the domain name you would like to have with Bluehost hosting free.
If you already purchased your domain from another domain provider, you can enter the domain name on the right-hand side where it says use a domain you own.
If you aren’t sure what domain name you would like to have, you can click the I’ll create my domain later link to choose your Bluehost free domain name at a later date from your Bluehost account.
If you are getting your domain name with Bluehost, enter the domain name you would like to have, and you’ll see to the right a dropdown you can select that says .com.
Click .com, and you can choose a domain extension you’d like to go with.
I recommend you select a .com if you can, as this is still the most popular domain extension, and .com is what most people will type in the search engines when trying to find a site.
Once you choose the domain that you would like to have, click the next button, and Bluehost will now let you know if the domain is available or not.
If it’s available, it will say available.
If the domain you choose is unavailable, it will let you know. It can be common if a domain name is unavailable, so don’t worry.
You could try the domain with a different domain extension, with a -, adding a word to it, or choosing a different domain for your site.

7. Enter Payment Information

Once you have entered your billing information, make sure you accept the terms and conditions and click on the green submit button.

If you click the Advanced tab once in the WordPress dashboard, it’ll take you to the Bluehost cPanel, also known as the Bluehost Control Panel.
From the Bluehost cPanel page, scroll all the way down to the SoftAculous Apps Installer.
You’ll then see different CMS and categories you can choose from to view to build your Bluehost website.
Let’s continue in setting up your WordPress site.
You now want to click the create your website button.
If you are migrating your site over from another web hosting provider, you can click the Start Migration link to begin the migration process.
You are now on a page where it asks how much help you need in creating your website.
Select the one you’d like or click the skip this step link.
You’ll now be on the what’s the primary purpose of your site page. Select one if you’d like.
From the other dropdown, there will be more choices you can choose from.
You can click skip this step if you’d like.
You’ll now be where you can choose what type of website you are going to be creating along with who you are creating the site for.

You can always skip this step. You can input this information in at a later time in the WordPress dashboard.
You’ll now be on a theme page where you can choose a theme for creating your site. You can skip this step if you’d like.
